Office Manager, Angela Williamson (Mrs. Angie)
Angela Williamson, better known to the kids as Mrs. Angie, is originally from Indiana. She completed both her Associate and Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene degrees while attending Indiana University-South Bend. Angie began her dental hygiene career in Fishers, IN at a pediatric Dental practice in 2007. She has worked for several pediatric dentists and has discovered her passion for dentistry is treating children and helping them to have a pleasant dental experience.
Mrs. Angie was introduced to Dr. Drew in April of 2010 on a blind date while he was completing his pediatric residency program. After marrying Dr. Drew in Indiana in 2011, they made the decision to move to Spring Hill, TN and absolutely love it here.
Dr. Drew and Mrs. Angie have four boys. Their oldest, named Riley, was born into Heaven after 37 weeks in utero in 2013. Their next son, Nehemiah, was born in 2014. He is an active toddler who enjoys sports, cars, and trains. Dr. Drew and Mrs. Angie experienced an early pregnancy loss of their third son, Gabriel in 2015. They are currently expecting their fourth son in October of 2016.
When she is not at the office, Mrs. Angie enjoys spending time with Dr. Drew and their son, Nehemiah.
When we first opened our practice in 2012, Mrs. Angie would be seen all the time at the office. However, now you may not see Mrs. Angie near as much. She works a lot behind the scenes with sales reps and balancing accounts as the office manager, helping ensure the practice continues to function well on the business side of things. However, when the opportunity presents itself, she does enjoy getting to come out, catch up with patient families, and treat patients as a dental hygienist.
Michelle, a.k.a. “Michael”, joined our administrative team having a strong background in insurance verification, specifically in medicine. She has taken on the challenge of dental insurance verification in addition to administrative duties for our crew at WPD. She was born and raised in Spring Hill and has been an advocate for non-profit organizations since 2011, when she fell in love with “Relay for Life” through the American Cancer Society. She is currently pursuing a degree in sociology to further her career in the pediatric field. She is the mother of two boys, Jaylan (4 years old) and Kash (2 years old). She loves football, bonfires, and spending time with her family. She looks forward to work every day knowing that Dr. Drew and the ladies on the clinical team are doing everything they can to increase patients trust and confidence in their overall oral health at each visit.
Kelly was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, and has resided in Spring Hill for the last 14 years. She lives here with her husband Jay. She is a proud mother to three daughters and 2 dogs (porkie’s). Kelly has 4 years of dental administration experience. In her free time, she enjoys cooking for her family, spending weekends at the lake, and gardening. Kelly is proud to be a member of the administrative team at WPD, and she loves helping educate patients on the importance of maintaining good oral health that will follow them into adulthood.
Angela was born in East Tennessee, but has spent most of her life in Middle Tennessee. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a bachelors of science in Biology. She’s been in the dental field since 2015 and always knew she wanted to work in pediatrics. She’s been a team member with WPD since 2016 and enjoys making every child’s visit a fun experience. You may see Angela working in the clinical part of the office most of the time, but she is also very knowledgable about the administrative side as well. She met her husband Allen in the fourth grade, and they have been married since 2016. Together, they have 2 rescue dogs, Fiona (a husky/pug mix) and Keats (a King Charles Cavalier / Poodle mix). She and her husband enjoy anything outdoors, whether it’s hiking with their dogs or kayaking on the river. She also runs one 5K every month to help raise money for various organizations.
Mrs. Ashley is our expanded functions dental assistant on our clinical team. She has six years of experience in the dental field and has been with our office for three of those years. Ashley has been married to her husband Caleb since 2012 and is the mother of two beautiful little girls, Addy (5) and Ellie (1). She enjoys living in Bethesda where her family has a full range of outdoor activities, such as fishing or simply riding on the ranger. What she loves most is spending quality time with family, making memories, and creating traditions with her girls that they will never forget. Ashley is honored to be able to work with children on a daily basis, and be an advocate for their overall oral health.
